The Maryland Carey Law community can now access a new database, Early American Newspapers, 1690-1876: From Colonies to Nation, An Essential Record of 18th- and Early 19th-Century America, Series 1, in the A-Z Databases list on the Law Library's homepage, with your UMID and password. Early American Newspapers, Series 1 includes searchable digitized images of over 340,000 issues from 730+ digitized American newspapers in 23 states and the District of Columbia dating from the 17th to 19th centuries. Access is limited to the 730+ newspaper titles in Series 1 of the 17 series in the Readex Early American Newspapers collections.
