What newspapers and news sources are available through the Law Library?

Answer

The Maryland Carey Law community has online access to dozens of news sources.

News sources are available via the Law Library's News and Current Awareness Databases, in the Law Library's A-Z Databases list, via the Online Journal Finder, and via our Discovery Service Catalog (refine results by Source Type "News"), all of which are found on our home page (UMID and password required remotely).

News sources are also available via Bloomberg Law, Lexis, and Westlaw.

Our news collections include subscriptions to ProQuest's News & Newspapers and Historical Newspapers databases.

National news sources in our collection include The Baltimore BannerChristian Science Monitor, CQ Researcher, Financial Times, Law.com, Law360, New York Times, PoliticoPro, Wall Street Journal, and Washington Post.

Local news sources include The Maryland Daily Record (which provides access to Family Law Update, Annapolis Insider, Women Who Lead and more), Baltimore Afro-American, and Baltimore Sun.
